Within a quatrefoil, ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); to right, above, and to left, ‘ṣalla – Allāh – ʿalayh’ (‘May Allah bless him’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘… sana aḥad wa tisʿīn wa sitta [miʾa]’ (‘… in the year 691’ in Arabic). Rev. Within a dotted circle, ‘Hakanu Ariba / Arincin Turci / Deledkeguluk / sen Arighu’ (‘Struck by Irenjin Turji, the vice-regal governor of the Khan’ in Uighur); the last line, ‘Irīnjīn Tūrjī’ (‘Irenjin Turji’ in Arabic).
